Here’s one of my latest commissions for designing a complete logo and stationary package for a client that specializes in online phone and Internet services. The initial goal was to design the main logo for the main service, titled frontierTELCO, then modify it to accommodate PBO and ISP services. After several sketches, I decide to stick with the mainstay element “frontier” and frame it with an under-swinging dark bar extending all the way for the interchangeable elements.
The final task was to apply the different iterations of logos tot he stationary set and the business cards, which you can see below in five different styles.
After several deliberations, the gray over white design was chosen for its simplicity and elegance, and its lower reproduction and printing impact.
